Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney tells the story about Edgeworth's first year as a prosecutor. It features 5 brand-new cases, featuring brand-new characters.

Miles Edgeworth is the protagonist and main player of the game, playable in all cases except 4 and a part of 5. Manfred and Franziska von Karmas also make apperances. The game will also feature familiar characters, such as Winston Payne, Damon Gant, Diego Armando, Kristoph Gavin, and of course, Dick Gumshoe.
New characters exclusive to the game include Senior Detective Alex Cetera, and Rookie Detective Joss Correal, who will be the main assistant for the game.
