From GyakutenWiki
Turnabout Remnants is the final case of the 5 available in papermario13689's fangame Phoenix Wright: Remnants of the Past.
[edit] Overview
The tempest from the fires of hell has been doused, and Phoenix has recovered most of his memories. Still...he has this feeling that there is..one more memory he is missing. One he has spent so long trying to forget. He must recover this memory in order to return to the present. However, a certain case comes to light, in a whole other perspective...
The time is 11:02 PM. That morning, Phoenix, along with Maya and Pearl, had gone up to Hazakura Temple to attempt the Special Course that was being offered.
Phoenix is awakened by the sound of lightning along with a blood curdling scream. He runs towards the courtyard, to find that Elise Deauxnim, picture book author, has been stabbed through the back with a sword. At the same time, Sister Bikini regains consciousness, and informs Phoenix that the suspect is...Pearl?!
Wait...wasn't Pearl on the Inner Temple side? Odd...
Realizing that the danger was all the same, Phoenix didn't have time to find Pearls. He ran up to Dusky Bridge, where nobody is waiting for him. Wait? Where's Larry? "LAURICE!!" Shouts Phoenix, but to no avail. No more time to waste. Wising up from his past mistakes, Phoenix doesn't attempt the run across the bridge. Instead, he makes the phone call to the police. Oddly, after the investigation is complete, Phoenix notices: Where is Iris? He hadn't seen her at all after she gave him the demon warding hood.
Days pass, and Iris is still missing. It is assumed by the investigators that she is on the Inner Temple side. Seems Pearls and Iris had somehow...switched fates? Detective Gumshoe suddenly informs Phoenix that the temporary bridge is set up, and Phoenix dashes over the bridge with Franziska von Karma. What he saw on the other side...was an absolute horror.
Sister Iris of Hazakura Temple was lying in the snow, unconscious and injured.
Who did this?! While saving Pearl from a guilty verdict, Phoenix must find who assaulted Iris. On top of all of that, who caused the malfunction of the Mason System, and who altered his memories to cause endless troubles for Phoenix? At the end of it all, lies one person...
"When you eliminate the impossible...whatever remains, no matter how improbable...must be the truth."
[edit] Difficulty and Length
The most difficult and long case made in the history of Phoenix Wright, Turnabout Remnants revives many parts of Bridge to the Turnabout, along with the trial of the man who assaulted Iris, and Pearl Fey's trial. Also, investigations run into how the Mason System was tampered, and a final trial is held for the man responsible for throwing Phoenix into the past.
Therefore, this case is about three times as long and difficult as Rise from the Ashes.
